Mark Banschick, MD, is an experienced child and adult psychiatrist and a widely read author based in Connecticut, USA. With decades of experience, he has helped families and individuals resolve issues and develop a better sense of self. Mark advocates taking agency in one’s life, a concept called the Adult Mind – the part of ourselves that helps us move forward. He is particularly passionate about helping children either from intact or divorced families.
Mark is a noted author for both The Intelligent Divorce series, “Taking Care of Your Children,” and its sequel, “Taking Care of Yourself”. In 2025, he will release The Narcissism Book (title to be determined), a deep dive into the subject. Mark has also published over 200 articles on Psychology Today and appeared on shows such as CBS: The Early Show. Mark is co-founder of the Integrative Medicine of Katonah: an advocate for taking the best of Western and Eastern thinking and applying it to healing. During the past 25 years, the group has met monthly and covered a wide range of topics from Mind-Gut Health to Jungian dream analysis to healing complex relationships.
